Dr. Thomas Sowell

Dr. Thomas Sowell was born on 30 June 1930 in North Carolina. Despite dealing with all of the problems of racial discrimination in the "evil" American South, he some how found a way to earn a PhD and become a champion of free markets, and free people! As a Black man in America, he has certainly learned to live a free and self-reliant life!!

Dr. Sowell has done some of the most honest and insightful research and writing on issues regarding the differences in the cultures and economic performances of different ethnic groups in this country.

My favorite book of his is "The Vision of  the Anointed", where he lays out the strategy of the Left to use certain "victims" groups as "Mascots", to further their agenda and gain political power.

He is a staunch critic of Marxism, affirmative action, judicial activism, and the Liberal-media bias, among other things.

For those you unfamiliar with this great man, the following short videos should be a good introduction.

Dr. Sowell's views on welfare:

Thoughts on the Poverty Industry

The Vision of the Anointed:
